Tournament software for 2026 / 2027
The tee sheet sells the everyday round, while tournament software runs the outing.
LiveScramble
LiveScramble handles the club’s own event. Players register directly in the platform. The software organizes shotgun pairings and assigns starting holes across the golf course for the field. During play, competitors enter hole scores on their mobile phones out on the course.
The software calculates results and presents the leaderboard on the clubhouse television screen as groups finish each hole. Registration, score entry, and screen output remain inside LiveScramble throughout the tournament day. An event scheduled in LiveScramble can also appear directly on an OpenSheet tee sheet as an event on the facility schedule.
The setup supports the single-day club outing. Organizers set up player registration, build the field, publish starting hole assignments, collect phone scores during play, and broadcast the live scoring display in the clubhouse grill room or pro shop. LiveScramble holds the player entries, live scoring, and event leaderboard in its own interface without routing participants to external portals.
Golf Genius
Golf Genius provides tournament scoring and event management across a full operational calendar. The software serves golf clubs, regional golf associations, competitive leagues, and outside event groups that run scheduled tournaments throughout the season.
The platform manages tournament scoring, multi-day competitions, weekly league schedules, association qualifiers, and visiting corporate or charity outings. Facilities and organizations run tournament schedules that span entire competition calendars, maintaining points, historical results, and player records across multiple dates.
Administrators configure tournament pairings, player flights, event rules, score tracking, and results distribution across recurring leagues and large competitive fields. Outside groups holding third-party events at member clubs or public facilities run their tournament setups through the system alongside the club’s standard competition schedule. Golf associations use the platform to conduct multi-course tournaments, member championships, and season-long series involving distinct member facilities.
